It seems obvious, but we really do care about the architecture that we create and the buildings we work on. When asked what kinds of buildings we 'do', we instead talk about the type of people that we work with. We practice an architecture of 'appropriateness', based on an understanding of the needs of the Client grown from building personal face-to-face relationships.

We are an RIBA chartered practice and offer full architectural design from concept to completion.
consultation & community engagement
We have built a reputation for working on community focused projects and look for opportunities for consultation and knowledge sharing on every project, no matter the scale or complexity.
conservation & retrofit
Care for sustainability and building heritage is at the heart of what we do. We have experience working on a range of historic and listed buildings and have a conservation architect and qualified retrofit coordinator within our team.
site appraisals
Our experience with development and familiarity with grants and funding bodies places the practice in a unique position to help Clients evaluate the suitability of potential sites.
interior design
Many of our projects are led by interior design. We have a range of retrofit and interior fit out experience and love helping to bring spaces to life through materiality and finishes.
teaching & lecturing
The studio enjoys an active involvement with architectural education. We have strong links with UWE, through teaching and also through their summer internship schemes at all levels.
